Wagatomo –

When it comes to wagyu, you’ve just got to go Japanese. Wagatomo is a new Japanese restaurant that recently opened their doors at Guoco Tower in Tanjong Pagar. While we’ve all had our fair share of wagyu beef by now, Wagatomo takes it to the next level.

Their omakase set starts at $128, and includes their signature A5 Wagyu Pizza. Flavoured with ponzu mayo, pickled myoga, yuzu kosho cream and truffle oil, this is one pizza that has be experienced firsthand! They’ve also got a few set lunches available from $25.

What would life be without a little bit of spice? If a wonderful blend of Mexican and Indian cuisine sounds good to you, be sure to swing by Ms Maria & Mr Singh at Craig Road! With a fascinating menu of original creations, this delightful fusion of flavours promise an evening of spice and gastronomic excitement.

Must try items include the Keema Quesadilla ($24), for a burst of cheesy lamb flavour. If you’re not a fan of lamb, you can opt for their Pork Vindaloo Tacos ($17) instead, as well as the classic Chicken Tikka Masala ($18).

Located off Henderson Road, Sonder prides themselves on being a special kind of dining, and with their novel bakery bistro omakase concept, we’re inclined to believe them! A bakery bistro by day and an omakase destination by night, expect to be pleasantly surprised by their creative Euro-Asian flavours.

If you’re planning a visit for some of their artisanal bakes, be sure to try out their Lemon Meringue Tart ($15)! The light meringue shell melts away to reveal the pleasantly tart lemon custard, making this a real treat for the senses! Dinner-wise, their 3 dinner sets range from $88 to $188, and include Sea Urchin as well as A4 Wagyu Striploin.

Their lunch set menu starts at $70++ per guest, and includes intriguing treats such as battered frog legs and grilled king prawns. For a la carte choices, keep an eye out for their Carabinero Prawn Tagiolini ($42), for a mouth-watering prawn pasta in kelp and sea urchin sauce.
