Don’t get me wrong, I love trendy restaurants with their deconstructed twigs and unidentifiable ‘caviar’. But sometimes I’ll crave the traditional fare; a warm plate of Kway Teow and Hokkien Mee that’ll transport me back to my younger(ish) days. From Singaporean spins on international dishes to Michelin starred Teochew cuisine, here are 4 restaurants that you need to try if you’re a traditional foodie.
