Possibly one of the most well-known nasi lemak brands in Singapore, Boon Lay Power Nasi Lemak boasts decades of experience and legions of loyal fans. Their popularity is commonly attributed to their authentic, traditional recipe, which they’ve been using since the 70s.

While different nasi lemak stalls have different strong points (eg. Crispier chicken, more fragrant rice, etc), Power Nasi Lemak seems to do it all! Yet another hot favorite among nasi lemak fans, Chong Pang Nasi Lemak has been around for almost 50 years. Originally located at Chong Pang Village Hawker Centre, they have since their own store off Sembawang Road.

Their rendition of this dish features a homemade sambal that’s slightly on the sweeter side, which perfectly complements their battered chicken wings and fragrant rice! They are also open until 6:30am daily, which makes them the perfect supper spot when you’ve got the midnight munchies!

If you’re in the east and you’re craving some solid nasi lemak, be sure to drop by Mizzy’s Corner! With a history dating back to 1997, they’re a popular pick for families dinners and gatherings due to their signature marinated chicken wings.

Their basmati coconut rice is especially fragrant and inviting, so if you’re a stickler for some good grains, you’ll probably enjoy their signature nasi lemak sets! Alternatively, they also do islandwide deliveries, and a standard Nasi Lemak Bento Set starts from $5.50.

Despite their growing popularity, D’Authentic Nasi Lemak at Marine Parade remains somewhat of a hidden gem, so here’s your cue to go check them out! Unlike other nasi lemak stalls, D’Authentic doesn’t have set meals, so it’s an ala carte situation where you can add as many dishes as your hungry heart desires!

Their rice is fragrant with inviting hints of coconut milk, but the real star here is their sambal. Chili lovers will appreciate the sweet and spicy burst of flavor that their sambal delivers, which balances a lightly-sweet start with a surprisingly spicy finish!
